Ibrahim Sheikh – Principal

Spent the past ten years in Baltimore acquiring, developing/renovating and managing a sizeable real estate portfolio: from standard run of the mill row houses, to converting office buildings and warehouses into luxury apartments, mixed-use, & self-storage buildings using historic tax credits. Mr. Sheikh has developed a strong professional network in Baltimore, including influential real estate developers and politicians at the highest level of City and State offices, as well as many intermediaries required in the real estate development process. Mr. Shiekh has successfully executed on over 700,000 square-feet of historic redevelopment and construction. Mr. Sheikh is the proprietor of Permira Construction, real estate development and management companies that provide services throughout the development cycle: identifying properties, negotiating/acquiring properties, identifying required renovations, executing those renovations, listing properties for leasing and/or sale, negotiating mortgage agreements with local banks, and managing properties after leases are signed.


Brett Bernard – Senior Project Manager

Mr. Bernard established his first general contracting firm in 2003.  Over the next 9 years, his passion and expertise for custom historic Baltimore rowhouse renovations, built a loyal client base.  The quality and customer service delivered, soon resulted client’s request to apply his skills to managing their rental properties.  A new business was added to the core construction model.  Mr. Bernard maintains a management portfolio of commercial and residential properties throughout Baltimore.  His efforts in the revitalization of east Baltimore neighborhoods has forged strong bonds with public and private community development groups.  In 2011 Mr. Bernard rose to the elevated challenge of Project Manager for the historically restored St. Stanislaus Church and Fallsway Spring Building developments as well as Merchant Point and Merchant Square projects for other local developers.


Sergii Marakhov Project Engineer

Mr. Marakhov has nearly 10 years of experience in project management and consulting. He possesses a Masters degree in Project Management, and has extensive expertise in developing master project schedules, analyzing project progress trends and resource levels, productivity monitoring, and project risk management. He also is very proficient in construction software, which allows him to manage procurement and expenses, scheduling, and overall project management. 

Mr. Marakhov has successfully managed multiple complex multi-million dollar projects across Europe and the U.S., including the IBC & MBC Broadcast Centers for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia; the Porsche Center in Kyiv, Ukraine; the Central Savings Bank in Baltimore, Maryland and Howard Self Storage in Baltimore, Maryland.

Jyab Shayeb Project Manager

Mr. Shayeb established his first contracting business in 2001, in his hometown, of Cleveland, Ohio. The company specialized in residential renovation of Victorian homes and commercial construction. For the next 10 years, Mr. Shayeb built a strong client base and a stellar reputation for quality craftsmanship.

In 2010, Mr. Shayeb relocated his company to South Florida and quickly built a luxury client base. He worked closely with prominent relators and developers in constructing exceptional quality projects, which met budget and scheduled goals. Impeccable service, expertise, reliability and professionalism elevated the company to be a leader in South Florida.

Clarence Bull, JR.

Mr. Bull started a career in construction in 1982 as a carpenter’s apprentice & heavy equipment operator. Over the following thirty-five years his role has shifted into more supervisory and superintendent fuction. Mr. Bull’s portfolio includes new construction, remodeling, additions and updating of residential and commercial projects. His commercial portfolio involves private schools, mini-malls, grocery stores, office buildings and major franchise spaces all over Maryland.  


Eddie Dunn - Foreman

Mr. Dunn began a career in carpentry in 1985. He has worked in all phases of commercial construction. He worked as a foreman and superintendent on many projects including the building of new Bank of Bowie branches, conversion of the Federal Landbank of Baltimore building, and ground-up construction of multiple Wal-Mart locations in MD & VA. Ed oversaw all of the carpenters on the job and coordinated with trades to its successful completion.


Janice M. Tolj – Controller

Ms. Tolj is Controller for the Permira Construction, LLC and its affiliates and is responsible for the budget review, analysis and cash flow management for the firm. In addition, Ms. Tolj is responsible for the firm’s accounting, audit and financial statement preparation. Ms. Tolj is an accounting executive with over 20 years of experience in accounting and controls. Prior to joining PSG, Ms. Tolj spent 12 years with a middle market public accounting firm, focusing on expert tax and accounting services for real-estate related, for-profit and non-profit enterprises. Ms. Tolj holds a B.A from Loyola University and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore.
